Not a curmudgeon, just human. Love does suck when you are not in love.

I spent Christmas at work and as it was quiet and I was alone, I had my portable DVD player I watched upbeat holiday movies like "God Grew Tired of Us" and "Murderball". ;)

Happy New Year, Louis

Hey Louis. I thought about what you said the other night ("You don't post in your blog anymore"), so I decided to bring it back to working condition & whatnot. Let's see if I can make a habit of ranting online... PS: it's a different link; http://myriiad.blogspot.com

I was having a conversation today with my computer...when all of a sudden a stranger took it upon themselves to interject into my converstation. The stranger didnt say anything rude, or mean, and under an invited situation might have seemed insightful. This stranger overheaing my conversation with my computer felt like the quandry I was in had a simple answer, so he just blurted it out. Im not sure how he happened to stumble onto my conversation, but I must say at first I believed he missed the point. Clearly the solution to my situation is obvious, but the exercise that I had begun with my Lenovo was not an exercise for answers, but instead for relfection.
Then as I began to curse the strangers name for such a lack of insight I had a change of heart. This stranger had taken the time to read something that I had written. Compelled by what I dont pretend to know, but I do know he was either outraged by my conversation, or in awe. The only time strangers bother to comment are when something truly upsets them or truly suprises them...in a good way.
After doing a little research on my stranger I discovered that his comment was made out of sheer boredom. Normally that would make the comment mean less, but I know the multitude of computer conversations is much like the pages in a phone book. I could be selected by just opening to a page and pointing, or as I'll let myself believe...divine selection.
It was not that long ago I complained about my blog going unread. This is a sign...continue to blog.

Thank You

Cheers

I take it you're really keen on joining the rat race, eh? Good luck to ya. By the way, I wouldn't mind hearing the new song(s) of yours. Peace.
