So this is Christmas

Posted by incoherencedaily on December 22, 2007

And what have we done?

…Ok, I said to myself as soon as I wrote that that I wouldn’t rant on about not having done enough good in the world, such as John Lennon said in the song ‘So This Is Christmas,’ so I won’t, even know it’s actually true. Alright enough with the depressing stuff. Basically, I wanted to say “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” There. It’s said.

Now that that’s done with… I’d like to say, love sucks for everyone except those in love. Maybe it’s just me and I’m just an awful curmudgeon that can’t stand to see that sort of affection. I certainly hope not. I don’t FEEL like a curmudgeon, but it’s possible that I am one. I guess until the next time I fall in love I’ll be this strange semi bitter person. Sigh. That’s really all I have to say. I’m looking at the word count at the bottom of the page and I feel like I haven’t written enough.  Time to find another topic that doesn’t feel so thinly worn to me.

I have possibly a metric ton of snow on my deck. I moved most of it off today. I am now sore. Oh well, it’s much better than being hung over…

Anyways, Cheers!

  1. Not a curmudgeon, just human. Love does suck when you are not in love.

I spent Christmas at work and as it was quiet and I was alone, I had my portable DVD player I watched upbeat holiday movies like “God Grew Tired of Us” and “Murderball”. ;)

    Happy New Year, Louis
