Yuck: Popularity!

I thought about something. (I know you’re all impressed at just that, but there’s more.) Someone can be incredibly talented but not be recognized for it because what they’re talented at isn’t popular. For instance: A supertalented underwater javelin thrower might not get the same recognition and respect as say, a guitarist. I am, in fact, a guitarist, but it’s wierd to think that if I had instead stayed on piano, and not practiced guitar, I’d probably not be considered ‘good’ by that many people. Not that I’m sorry I switched, though. I enjoy guitar alot. Harmonica too. If life were a game, it’d be rigged.

Today I applied for I think 10 jobs. It wasn’t the funnest experience, I gotta say. It was like a crash-course in form signing. That’s alright, now the hard part is over. It’s the long part now that I gotta deal with. Namely, waiting for some buisness dude to call me back for an interview. I hope they get it over with soon so I can have a for-sure job. I don’t want to go the summer without income this year. If that happens, I get shipped off to Chicoutimi (Which isn’t an inherently bad thing, but I think the little free time I have this summer should be spent with friends.) to work for my uncle, who’s the manager at some Labrador Water company. Feels like I applied everywhere. Bureau en Gros, Canadian Tire, Wal Mart, some plant stores, A book store I can’t remember the name of that’s unfortunately NOT chapters, Super C, Loblaws… ARGH! ONE of them BETTER call me back. Or else. Time to go hatch an evil plan.
Cheers!

I take it you’re really keen on joining the rat race, eh? Good luck to ya. By the way, I wouldn’t mind hearing the new song(s) of yours. Peace.
